The Republic of Zaqistan are located in the Northwest corner of the State of Utah in the United States of America.
Zaqistan is high desert, remote, 3 and a half miles from any dirt road, 13 and a half miles from the nearest highway (State Route 30) and very far from any water source. Most of Zaqistan is aproximately 4,251 feet above sea level. The highest point Mt. Insurmountable, where currently a Zaq flag triumphantly flies, measures aproximately 4,259 feet above sea level and the lowest point Desperation Gulch measures aproximately 4,244 feet above sea level. The capital is The Zaqopolis located at the base of Mt. Insurmountable.
